The Problems of “Disyllabic Word” in Linguistic Terms

Disyllabic words are not approached with proper examples in Linguistic Terms, though they are explained from modern disyllabic word theory. That indicates that the modern prevalent disyllabic word theory is divorced from reality. Moreover, the discrepancies in explaining disyllabic words also show that the theory is solidly based on language reality. Linguistic Terms, together with other extant works shows that the prevalent disyllabic word theory completely fails to Chines languages.
