Exploration and Practice of Nursing Management of Performance Appraisal

Objective To explore the effect of nursing management of performance appraisal for improving nursing quality and patients' satisfaction.Methods An assessment team was organized to make detailed rules and regulations on the appraising of the work efficiency,quality and accuracy for bonus distribution. More bonuses should be distributed to those who run high-risked and heavy tasks.Results Comparing before nursing performance appraisal,the nursing quality,patients' satisfaction and nurses' satisfaction for bonus distribution were significantly improved(P0.05).Conclusion Performance appraisal is of great significance in the nursing management,which effectively stimulats the nursing staffs' activeness and improves the patient's satisfaction and nursing quality.
