Application of database management system for mine groundwater

Because of the problems existed in the data management in coal mines at present, the importance of the relational database technology to the hydrogeology data management in coal mines is becoming more and more outstanding. A mine ground water database information system has been developed on the basis of analyzing relevant material of mine area. The overall design method and the basic structure of the system have been given, and its function has been explained in details. The mine hydrogeology database with data analyzing and treatment is the core of the system. Meanwhile the Renlou Mine in north of Anhui Province is taken as an example to verify the actual effect of the system, which has achieved satisfied results and must be great beneficial to Renlou mine. The development of the system has great significance to the work of water prevention and treatment in the mine area.
