Application of Wavelet Transform in Ultrasound Image

In order to reduce the speckle noise of medical ultrasound image,the denoise method based on wavelet transform is adopted in this paper.At first,the original ultrasound image is taken logarithm,the multiplicative noise signal is changed to be additive nosie signal.Then dealed with wavelet transform and wiener filter.The experiment results show that,compared with common used methods(such as median filtering,Wiener filtering and Perona_Malik method etc.),the method based on wavelet transform can restrain the noise of ultrasound image effectively with detail-preserving.
