Research on Bioremediation of Petroleum Contaminated Soils and Its Perspectives

Based on the bioremediation advantages of high efficiency,no secondary pollution and easy operation,the paper(introduces) the applications of relevant technologies in the field of petroleum contaminated soils.With the summarization of petroleum properties and pathways to contaminate the environments,the application of microremediation and phytoremediation technologies for(removing) organic pollutants are highlighted.Furthermore,the new development of genetic engineering technology in the application of both technologies is introduced as well.The article also indicates the potentials and perspectives of future study on the remediation(technologies) of petroleum contaminated soils.
