Review of Dempster Shafer Method for Data Fusion

As one of the most important fusion methods,Dempster Shafer(DS)method has been used widely in all kinds of data fusion systems.In this paper,the fusion model based on DS method,typical realization approaches of this method,and DS method′s extension are discussed comprehensively.Finally,commentaries on this fusion emthod from the viewpoint of data fusion are given,and it is pointed out that combining DS method with other related theories is an important trend.
