Reasoning process in text coherence interpreting and constructing

Text coherence can be viewed as psychological behavior as well as linguistic phenomenon.For readers,judging whether a text is coherent is indispensable with psychological activities,such as logical inference based on the text presentation and the reminiscence and recovery of world knowledge,etc..This paper uses anaphoric inference and thematic inference as examples to show that text coherence is a kind of psychological presentation which readers establish on their mind,while this view would help readers understand text coherence better.
