RUP development process is the mainstream of modern software development with characteristics of iteration and use case driven.UCP based on the use case is a software size estimation technique.The development of RUP is practiced,and research about software system size estimation.First estimates iteration numbers,second estimates the use case points each iteration by UCP,which include developing the new applications and modifying the old applications.The size of total software system.Finally is estimated.
