The Designs for the 3GPP Authentication and Key Generation Functions

The requirement for the 3GPP authentication and key generation functions is analysed. The two designs given by 3GPP TSG SA S3 is summarized. A new design about the structure and specific inner algorithm is given. Besides the same and different points about efficiency and security among these designs are compared.
