Chinese Energy and Water Balance Monitoring System Based on Remote Sensing Technique
Dong Jiang · Remote Sensing Information · 2002
Guided by theories on energy flow and materials exchange within Soil Atmosphere Plant Continuant (SPAC), a Chinese Energy and Water Balance Monitoring System (CEWBMS) had been established. The data sources of the system are meteorological satellites GMS 5 and FengYun 2. Multiple kinds of energy and water balance parameters could be modelled and processed into standard products with CEWBMS. Application models, such as crop product model and hydrological models, had also been explored and run successfully in certain institutes and government office.
