Multi-Agent Based Distributed Expert System and Its Application

A Multi-Agent Distributed Expert System is a network based distributed system consisting of some expert systems which use the same or related contents but different knowledge structures. The structure of Multi-Agent Based Distributed Expert System(MADES) is studied. There are four kinds of Agent in the MADES, such as Communication Agent, Actor Agent, Management Agent and Interface Agent. A cooperation strategy in the system used to resolve the outside resource occupation problems is proposed. The MADES has been applied to flood prevention decision.
