The status of the present technologies to diagnose the malfunction of the shearer were generalized,and the common methods were specialized that have for the moment.Moreover,it demonstrates the trend and the focus of the research on the diagnosis of the shearer is to develop the expert system, the artificial neural networks and the remote intelligence diagnosis.
