Simultaneously Adjoining the Idntity and Greatest Element to an Ordered Semigroup

Simultaneously adjoining identity and the greatest element to an ordered semigroup is a difficult open problem. It is proved in this paper that, if an ordered semigroup S satisfies the condition x,y∈S, x·yx and x·yy then we can simultaneously adjoin the identity and the greatest element to S.
