Goodness-of-fit Test for M-O Model

The problem whether the M-O model,which is a widely-used model in software reliability,is suitable for the given software system is considered.The problem is transformed into a goodness-of-fit test problem in statistics.A test statistic is constructed for the problem and the asymptotic normality of the statistic is proved.Then the reject region of the test problem is given.
