Design and Implementation of Safety Monitor Software Based on Ontology

Most of the existing monitoring systems are based on the characteristics of monitoring equipments and the needs of users to develop software,which cannot flexibly achieve dynamic integration.In order to solve these problems,the ontology technology is used to the design of intelligent monitoring software.Moreover,the OWL is adopted to describe and express the ontology formulations of equipments,which can solve the problems caused by sharing and reusing equipments.A monitoring system based on ontology is designed.The system possesses reusability and maintainability.The example shows that the monitoring process which is described by ontology is feasible.
