Improved WDV-HOP Algorithm and its Simulation Based on DV-HOP

The location information of the sensor node is of great importance. Node localization is one of the key technologies in Wireless Sensor Networks. In this paper,an improved algorithm WDV-HOP base on the DVHOP is proposed. A Matlab simulation model based on WDV-HOP is made. Results demonstrate that our proposal improve node location accuracy by about 3% in with the same amount of anchor nodes and the same radio range. In addition,the WDV-HOP algorithm reduces the number of anchor nodes,reducing the network hardware cost.
