A modeling way for indeterminate temporal data based on natural language expressions

The temporal information that includes natural language expressions is the key to the medical information system.However,how to process the indeterminate temporal information in the natural languages remains unsolved.According to the need of the medical information system,the current research technologies of the temporal data model and some classical indeterminate temporal medical information data model are studied in this paper.This paper proposes an indeterminate temporal data model,named NLTM,based on natural language expressions,to deal with the above problems in the medical information system and extends all sorts of temporal primitive types to support time indeterminacy according to the attributes definition of NLTM.
