Application of Ad Hoc Network in Emergency Aid

Self-organizing wireless network (Ad Hoc) is a new and developed network technology in the field of wireless communications. It features with independence, flexibility and rapid networking, dynamic topology and no strict center. Based on the presented emergency aid system, the performance and composition of Ad Hoc network in the system are introduced. Network architecture, routing technology, connectivity technology and congestion control strategy are the key technologies of Ad Hoc network and are studied in this paper. Application of Ad Hoc network in emergency aid broadens its field and has broad developing prospects.
