Jiang Xu-yong · Information technology newsletter · 2004

The digital wideband receiver is a research hotspots in the current radio communications field and an analog/digital converter(ADC) is the key component of implementing digital receiver. This paper introduces the structural difference between the digital wideband receiver and the conventional digital narrowband receiver and then studies the effect of ADC on the performance of the receiver. Finally, the design and application of AD9042 chip in the digital wideband receiver are shown by giving a example.
