Direct digital frequency synthesis has a series of advantages,such as high speed of frequency switch,high frequency resolution,easy control of frequency and phase.DDFS could generate various waves.According to the principles of DDFS,a sine wave generator is designed based on SCM 80C51,DAC0832 and some supplementary circuits.The system is practical as a result of simple design of circuits,flexible control of frequency and its expansibility.Besides sine wave,it could also generate various waves according to different data in the memory.
