Study and Analyze of Wireless Sensor Networks MAC Protocols

Sensor nodes generally are limited with resource.To design a good MAC protocol for the wireless sensor works,we have to consider the energy efficiency and the scale capability as the most important attribute.This paper explains the main point of the CSMA(Carrier Sense Multiple Access) and the TDMA(Time Division Multiple Access) which are used in the media management for the wireless sensor networks,describes the design and lack of competition-based SMAC,TDMA-based LMAC and hybrid ZMAC protocol,summarizes the attacks on the link-layer and the countermeasures,and gives some prospect in the end.
