Primary Investigation on Settlement Monitoring Instrument for Rock- soil of Low Mudflat

Due to the poor working condition for settlement monitoring of low mudflat seawall and the large measuring range of settlement instrument needed,now the settlement monitoring instruments completely suitable for low mudflat are quite rare. Through the model selection,testing and analysis for large amount of settlement instruments and transformers,we put forward for the first time two kinds of settlement monitoring technological means for low mudflat seawall,wide- range settlement instrument in Wading area and piezoresistive settlement instrument,and successfully take a project in situ observation on trial. This whole set of settlement monitoring instrument for low mudflat seawall can achieve the electrification and automation of settlement monitoring,so it has a broad application prospect.
