To solve the problem that the desired signals of GPS receiver are very weak while the narrowband interference signals are much stronger,a narrowband interference suppression algorithm based on FPGA is proposed. This method is implemented on the platform of Virtex5,using frequency domain filtering algorithm that overlapping windowed and adaptive multi-threshold detection technology to realize the real time detection and suppression of narrowband interference, finally using overlap-add method for data output. The results indicate that it can provide the capability of anti-narrowband interference at least 60dB for GPS receiver.Compared with other methods for narrowband interference suppression, this method improves convergence rate and reduces SNR loss.
