STUDY ON DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM DEALING WITH WATER ENVIRONMENT OF THE CHAOHU BASIN

In accordance with the object, content and features of the decision made by government, a decision support system based on remote sensing and GIS technique is established for comprehensive treatment of water environment of the Chaohu Basin. The system has four elemental modules involving in remote sensing, data base, model base and decision analysis. It makes full use of latest techniques such as COM, DW, DC, OLAP etc. to realize seamless integration of multi-sourced spatial data. The system will play a significant role in improving decisions by providing prompt, accurate, complete and successive information required.
