A LTE uplink closed loop power control algorithm based on division of UEs

As the LTE classical SINR uplink closed loop power control algorithm doesn't consider the interference of neighbor cells,which result in lower through output,we propose a closed loop power control algorithm according to the division of users.Firstly the UEs into cell center UEs or edge UEs is divided,then we use classical SINR algorithm setting target SINR for the center UEs while considering the interference of the edge UEs to the neighbor cells and use a new method.Theoretical analysis and MATLAB simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm reduced the interference to the neighbor users,and improved the cell throughput compared with the traditional uplink closed loop power control algorithm and classical SINR closed loop power control algorithm.
