Speech Signal Compression Based on Wavelet Transform

In this paper, based on the multiresolution analysis characteristics of wavelet transform, the Mallat multilayer decomposed low_frequency coefficient is used as the compressed speech signal directly,and the emulational experiments are carried out. The results prove the validity and the feasibility.
