Structured texture image inpainting approach based on TV model

Aimed at TV model's failure to restore textures,this paper proposes a new method of restoring structure texture image,combined with improved TV method.The method starts with the attainment of the texture direction of the domain subjected to restoration,followed by the solution to differencing TV model in the directions of texture.The method,capable of keeping the features of restoring structure,allows the loss of structure texture of 'X' and 'Y' to be restored.Experiments show that the method can afford an effective and stable treatment of image information for damaged image domain.
