ON THE CHARACTERISTICS OF COLLEGE STUDENTS' CYBER-CRIMES AND COUNTERMEASURES

The Internet has brought mankind great convenience and space for development,but also hastened the birth of various forms of cyber-crimes.Compared with traditional crimes,the means used in cyber-crimes are hidden,cyber-criminals are highly intelligence and cyber-crimes are severely detrimental.Being virtual is characteristic of a cyber-crime itself.There are many reasons for cyber-crimes and their causes are ethical.Because of the weakening of ethics and responsibility caused by the virtual network,people are too tolerant towards cyber-crimes,which originates from people's incorrect ethical concepts of network and a serious shortage of ethical research and education.Therefore strengthening the construction of network ethics is the basis for bringing under control cyber-crimes.
