Study on the Buffer of MIS Development Projects Based on the Root Variance Method

According to the low success rate of development projects about information system,critical chain buffer model of project based on the root variance method is established by introducing the critical chain. It is beneficial to set and manage the buffer,and to improve the traditional critical chain buffer model. In the algorithm,the model sets the process complexity and resource intensity of development projects about information system,and then it is used to calculate the buffer size. Finally,the model shows the practicability through the analysis of the example.
