Application of Barcode Technology in Supply Chain Management

Considering the advantage of barcode technology and the characteristic of supply chain management,this paper analyses the important function of barcode technology to supply chain management,points out some problems appeared in China's supply chain management such as lack of application consciousness,less coverage application area and out of date technology in the application of barcode technology.Aiming at these problems the paper researches the application mode of barcode technology in each link of applied chain including the supply of raw and processed materials,production,warehousing,marketing and delivery as well as the demand of interchangeable information duing after-sales service management,researches the application mode of barcode technology,provides reference for improving the level of China's supply chain managemet.
