The investigation and analysis of contributors' concerns in Chinese optical journals

[Purpose]Contribution concerns from various author groups are investigated to provide high quality services,attract contributions and advance the sustainable development of Chinese journals.[Methodology]The subjective and objective concerns of contributors in Chinese optical journal are deeply investigated w ith questionnaires.[Findings] The authors primarily concern the journals' index categories,review cycles,impact factors and the journal influence in the related community w hen they w ant to submit a paper.The employment rate,convenience of the submission system,publication cycles and publication charges are also important factors concerned by authors.[Conclusions]The editors should improve services by follow ing the contributors' concerns.Meanw hile,some measures for stabilizing and increasing the contribution amount,and realizing the differentiated development of Chinese and English journals are presented
