A calculation of random errors in basic physical experiment

Han Wan · Journal of Shijiazhuang Teachers College · 2000

In the experiment in basic physics, though the systematic errors have been gotten rid of successfully, the result of the repeated measurements of the same physical quantity under same conditions are of a little difference. Thus the ablsolute value and the sign of errors produced are always changing unexpectedly. This phenomenon is called random errors. So the measurement of errors is mainly that of the random errors.
