Reviewed the method of preparation and application of ion exchange fiber. The preparation method concluded chemical transform of macromolecule, graft monomer of polymers, spinning of mixed polymers. The application concerned about water treatment process with ion exchange fiber, such as the softening and deionization of water, packed electrodialysis, waste water treatment, and the purification and separation of gases such as CO2, H2S, NH3, SO2 and so on.
