Principle and simulation of the multi-band excitation speech compression algori thm

Based on the multiband excitation speech model,this article expounds the pri nciple of the multiband excitation speech compression algorithm,and shows the superiority of this model over the traditional vocoders model such as LPC vocoder. The method of computer simulation is introduced and the result of t he simulation is given. At the end,the result of the simulation is analyzed, the practicability of the algorithm is discussed and the direction of the resear ch work in the future is pointed out too.
