Application of Matlab LMI Toolbox in the Teaching and Research

This paper investigates the application of Matlab LMI toolbox software in the teaching and research.First of all,the three LMI solvers are introduced simply.Some examples indicate how to solve problems with gevp solver indirectly,analysis the methods and means of matrix equivalent conversion.In allusion to unknown matrix variable composed of block matrix,the description is given in the form of program.
