Application of Network Address Translation Technology in Firewall

IP address of LAN is mapped to the same external IP address with NAT (network address translation) technology. For application of NAT in firewall, ANT and IP address pool is set up in the point between Internet and Intranet to translate network address. The mapping relation between Internet and Intranet was founded, corresponding mapping was lookup and network address was translated and the turned off the communication. NAT releasing was assigned to mapping port. The function of address translated to mapping port is offered by firewall to hide topological structure of Intranet.
