A method of display of SVG and MathML objects in UOF

The boom of the wide range application of Chinese office document attracts much research effort on exchange of different office documents.This research focuses on the transformation of SVG and MathML data into images in the document of UOF,abbreviation for Uniform Office Document Format,i.e.,the Chinese national standard of office document format.The basic principle is as following:1) to extract the SVG and MathML data from the source UOF document into separate files;2) to convert those SVG and MathML files into Base64 encoded JPEG images;3) to insert the Base64 encoded image data into the target UOF document.As the result,a filter program was developed using Java.It is believed that this filter will facilitate the use of SVG and MathML in UOF documents.
