Feature Extraction for PMSM Based on Ameliorated EMD Arithmetic

Considering the defect of the common methods for time-frequency analysis,the fundamental and arithmetic of a adaptive time-frequency analysis method-empirical mode decomposition(EMD) were introduced,and the arithmetic of EMD was ameliorated.Based on this,EMD time-frequency analysis method was used for analyze the electromagnetism torque signal of permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) which have stator winding interturn short circuit fault,and the fault features such as instantaneous frequency,amplitude etc were extracted.Besides,put forward energy feature vector,all this provide foundation for fault diagnosis of the PMSM.
