Research on the location of the CDN edge node deployment

CDN leads the flow of traffic onto the edge of the backbone network to ease congestion. Current major carriers deploy CDN node in IDC room, but in the telecommunications carrier opinion, IDC to the end user but also across CMNet, the core network and transmission network. With the popularity of mobile phones, tablet and other wireless devices to the core network bandwidth is increasing pressure. The CDN lower edge node to the core network, the core network to alleviate the pressure on the network, reducing network latency has a huge role. In this paper, CDN edge node type and feasible solutions were analyzed sinking, and especially for the current study less CDN edge computing nodes were analyzed, because the cache system and CDN integration has become the trend, this article will node cache system regarded as the CDN edge node.
