Dynamic Spectrum Access MAC Scheme Based on Cognitive Radio

In current wireless communication systems,spectrum allocation is static,this result in extremely low spectrum utilization because this spectrum is randomly used.On the other hand,with the rapid development and widespread application of wireless communication and multimedia technology,current spectrum scarcity has become a serious problem.How to improve spectrum utilization has become an emergent problem needed to be solved.One feasible method is to open up this licensed spectrum to unlicensed users,which adopt dynamic spectrum access technology to use this spectrum on the basis that they don′t interfere with licensed users.In this paper,we propose a dynamic spectrum access MAC scheme based on Cognitive Radio(CR).In our scheme,unlicensed users are allowed to adaptively select available spectrum,adopt dynamic spectrum access technology,improving spectrum utilization effectively.
