Lightning strike is menace for surveillance and control system,so lightning protection of it is necessary. In order to design the science and systematic avoid lighting program of security surveillance and control system, the kinds and the destroy mechanism of lightning strike is analyzed from the view of electromagnetic compatibility and the coupling route and key of lighting protection is mastered. The lightning protection technology of security surveillance and control system is analyzed by cutting off the electromagnetic coupling route.Lighting rod and lighting protection arrestor and shield grounding are adopted to design the lighting protection program of security surveillance and control system, the engineer practice proved the validity of these method.
