Automatic Instrument Inspectin g Aerial Connection Caps' Airproof Capability Based on Machine Vision System

Machine vision system can be used to inspect airproof capability which is crucial to an aerial connection cap. The image acquisition system acquired enlarged digital images of tiny air bubbles in coal oil pushed out though the connection cap,and then transferred them into a computer.The inspecting software gave the results after image pre-processing,object recognition according to parameters of all objects found in the images.This software possesses specific functions including image processing,data analysis,self-control,so it can find and identify tiny air bubbles infections from the light,impurities in the coal oil and so on,and gets prominent advantages in the aspects of reliability,precision and manipulation.
