Research on the measurement of speech quality of VoIP based on E-Model

To evaluate and measure the speech quality of VoIP(voice over internet protocol) accurately,this paper mainly researched the measurement method of the speech quality of VoIP based on E-Model.The model considered most of the impairment factor of the network in the IP network,and could easily calculate MOS(mean opinion score) values for the different packet loss rate,different delay and jitter.It tested out changes of quality of the IP phones in the network,which was conducive to adjust the resources in the IP network and improve the quality of VoIP.
