Transaction for Web Services is one of the key technologies to provide the ability of coordinating short-lived and long-lived transactions. The paper proposes a transaction model based on shared memory for Web Services to process atomic transactions and cohesive transactions without Web Service extension, when using VS .Net to develop an enterprise information management system.
