Features of SWIFT-based Banking Correspondences

Banking correspondences are used to convey information,conduct transactions and solve problems,which are very important for the banks under the international circumstances.However,little attention has been paid to banking correspondences,especially SWIFT-based correspondences,which are most frequently used in international banking.This paper gives a brief introduction to the SWIFT format and specifications and then analyzes lexical and syntactic features of SWIFT-based correspondences.It will help inexperienced employees be familiar with SWIFT format and specifications and writing conventions of banking correspondences.
