The Taxonomy of Computer Viruses' Execution Requirement

Sun Wei-lian · Journal of Jiamusi University · 2008

This paper presents a structured taxonomy of computer viruses' execution requirements from a computer languages' point of view according to their common features, which is grounded in a isomorphic model structured with characteristics of computer languages and established between the requirements and constraints of computer viruses' program by using a one-one map method that present a corresponding relationship between the set of constraints and the set of requirements.Through the taxonomy, three effective approaches for anti-virus management are proposed.Such taxonomy can serve as an aid for software developers,as a material for studies in software engineering field,or as achecklistfor computer viruses testers or auditors.
