Momentum constant modulus algorithm for blind channel equalization

In this paper,the principle of the constant modulus algorithm(CMA) is introduced for blind channel qualization.After analyzing the disadvantages of CMA,momentum constant modulus algorithm(MCMA) is presented by modifying updating algorithm of CMA for blind qualization.By simulation,the performance of the proposed algorithm is compared with CMA by QPSK signal.The result shows that the MCMA is better and more robust in noise environments under the multipath propagation channel.Simulation demonstrates the MCMA can effectively improve the channel equlization by increasing convergence rate and decreasing mean square error and intersymbol interference(ISI).
