Development and application of the biometric identification technology

The biometric identification technology is widely used in the field of personal identification. The common techniques such as fingerprint recognition, iris recognition and face recognition were detailedly presented in this paper. This paper also discussed the performance evaluation of the biometric identification systems and forecasted the development of the biometric identification technology in the future.
