A Semiautomatic Building Method of Domain Ontology

The construction of ontology is always a problem to developers. Since there are a large quan- tity of conceptual schemas in application area today, this paper explores the relationship between ontology and conceptual schema, and shows the internal connections between them. The transla- tion rules from conceptual schema to ontology are built by means of these relationships, then a set of methods are also developed for the translation from conceptual schema to ontology. As a result, we could realize the semiautomatic building of domain ontology.
