Channel assignment and route strategy of multi-radio multi-channel ad hoc networks

Aiming at characteristics of multi-radio multi-channel ad hoc networks,a new method of channel assignment and a new route strategy are proposed in the paper.The presented method of channel assignment can maintain network connectivity,simplify channel assignment and reduce collision of channel assignment.The new route strategy takes account of link bandwidth,channel diversity,radio switching delay,channel interference and the shortest hop as routing metrics and can capture real link quality of the route selected.
